Something a little different in this week’s live music spotlight.
It’s a special live performance of the Theme From Cheers (Where Everybody Knows Your Name) by its writers, Gary Portnoy and Judy Hart Angelo – with a little help from the rather merry cast of the show.
It was filmed on Beacon Street in Boston, outside the Bull & Finch Pub – the real-life bar that was the inspiration for the fictional one – as part of a special edition of The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, which followed the original broadcast of the last-ever episode of Cheers in the US on May 20, 1993.
