In 1979, back when Scottish folk singer-turned-comedian Billy Connolly‘s meteoric rise to fame was just starting to take off (and when, for my money, he was at his funniest), he released this song, one of several hits he had around that time.
It was called In The Brownies (the Brownies being a junior version of the girl scouts) and was a parody of The Village People‘s1978 hit In The Navy.
Enjoy!
